Privacy Notice

Last updated 08/01/2026

This page explains what we collect when you use the PinkpillRx Library, why we collect it, and how to get it removed. Plain language, no legal padding.

PinkpillRx is run by Katie and Jay Fillmore. You can reach us at pinkpillrx@gmail.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

If you join the email list. Your email address, which boxes you ticked, and the date and time you signed up. We keep the record of what you agreed to so we only send what you asked for.

If you report a problem with a source. The title and link of the source, the type of problem, and your note. We do not ask for your email address and we do not collect one. Reports arrive anonymously.

In your browser. When you close the signup popup, your browser stores a single value locally so the popup does not reappear for thirty days. That value never leaves your device and never reaches us.

We do not run advertising trackers. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Why we collect it

We email you because you asked us to. That is the only reason we hold your address.

We collect problem reports so we can fix broken links and correct errors. Research citations are only useful when they work.

Who processes your information

We use four services that handle your information on our behalf.

Kit, formerly ConvertKit, stores our email list and sends our emails. Your address lives with Kit, not on our website.

Netlify hosts the site and records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of serving pages.

Airtable stores the research citations and the problem reports.

Google reCAPTCHA runs on the signup form to block automated spam. Google's own privacy terms apply to it.

Each of these processes information on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes.

Double opt-in

After you sign up, we send one email asking you to confirm. You are not on our list until you click that link. If you never click it, your address goes nowhere.

How long we keep things

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

We keep problem reports for as long as we need them to fix the issue, then we clear them out.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it. That works immediately and you never have to ask us.

You can also ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it entirely. Email pinkpillrx@gmail.com and we will handle it.

If you are in the UK, the EU, or Switzerland, you have these rights under data protection law and we respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority if you think we have handled your information badly.

If you are in California, you have similar rights under state law, including the right to know what we collect and the right to delete it. We do not sell personal information.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will remove it.

A note about the content on this site

The PinkpillRx Library might contain health education. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for care from your own clinician. Read the sources, bring them to your appointments, and make decisions with a professional who knows your history.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes get an email.
